After reviewing various types of wine storage units, I decided on this cabinet because of its sophisticated look and reasonable price point. While unpacking, I noticed that the top shelf component (inside the completed cabinet) had a crack in the wood about 3" long. Since it was the rear part of the shelf and not easily visible once fully assembled, I decided to just overlook this.The unit looks beautiful and appears to be sturdy. It's a great addition to my apartment and I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something a bit fancier than just a wine rack.

I've read other reviews on this item, they stated box showed up damaged and putting the pieces together were a bit tricky and hard. The box showed up in perfect condition and for the most part one of the easiest cabinets my husband found to put together. The toughest part was attatching the glass racks in, these go in last and with the wood so dark hard to find holes and with big hands, hard to screw in the small screw (this was the tricky part I read about - very true.) Otherwise, I LOVE the color, PLENTY of room. I'm now searching for a small light to put inside the back to light up my beautiful wine glasses inside. Rated 4 out of 5, really should be 4 1/2!!
