Great first plane
By M. Gieselman
Although I've been flying for a while the Parkzone F4F is still fun to fly and great for beginners. If you have spent a few hours using an RC plane simulator then the F4F will be an easy transition, it's has excellent flying characteristics. Getting off the ground by hand launching is no problem even if you have the remote in one hand. The F4F lands easily in low grass or pavement, grass tends to be more forgiving. For the seasoned RC pilot it's a great plane too, flies nice and scale, small enough to fit in your trunk but large enough to be fun.

Great Parkflyer
By Atomico
I have been flying RC for many years on gas engines and had held out from electrics for a long time. My local hobby store highly recomended that "update" my gear(radio to GSM and Gas to Electric). After much reserach about something fun that would fit my budget, and be easy to fly I selected this plane and the Spektrum DX5e transmitter. Amazingly, this was all I needed! The plane flyes great! Its light on its wings, acrobatic, and very responsive to throtle. I strongly suggest that if you are a begginer you start on low rates, and have someone trim it out before your first flight. Mine took some quick reactions right off the bat, but once it was trimmed it takes off straight. It can handle winds of up to 10 mph (which i was surprised for its lightness) and i can fly it on my local park district soccer/football fields. Acrobatically it handles cuban 8's, inverted flights, and rolls pretty well. Overall, its pretty smooth. There is no landing gear for this plane and you must touch down on the belly (it has a skid plate to protect from any damage). This is a down side as to prevent any propeller damage you have to cut the engine and lose some control on your approach. The upside, is that if you are landing on soft grass it makes fro some cool landings (my 2 year old loves to see the plane skid!)I have had two rough landings, the most recent was a full crash from 30 ft at a sharp angle on the nose. The body has remained intact, the propeller and nose cowl broke, but overall it faired better that I expected. I replaced the propeller and nose cowl for $12 (thanks for the free shipping) and it looks as good as new.Overall, I recomend this plan to anyone thinking about getting an parkzone plane, or an electric park flyer.

2nd Plane
By Robert
I bought an F4F as a second plane after flying a Super Cub for several months. I think it was a good transition (with simulator training on top), it is pretty easy to fly it doesn't get off balance by itself at all, smooth, it does glide with more maneuverability than the Cub but loses altitude a lot faster. I belly land my Super Cub in the snow or ground but I've got the bottom all taped up, works like a charm, rough terrain here so that's the only way to land. The Super Cub has higher wings and a flat bottom so it balances better on impact and slides out straight, the F4F base is rounded so it tends to drop a wing and scrape it on the ground when it lands. My bad I have to figure out how to drop it in a stall. So 'landing' the F4F is a 'little' more challenging and I have not got the hang of dropping velocity and stalling it. I've got some damage to the cowl and the fake rear landing gear caught on the ground and tore out with a hunk of styrofoam. Once I glue the gear back on I'll trim it to a nub. It still flies, parts on order :) Heck, I accidentally powered it up sitting on the truck bed, it still flies fine with the ends of the props chewed off.Other than that the F4F sounds cool, looks wicked cool, is actually very forgiving in the air, and it can do all kinds of fun stuff the Super Cub can't do.
