A better starter violin

I purchased this violin for my wife for Christmas as she has been wanting to learn the violin for years. Its hard to find fair reviews online but after some digging I was relatively confident in my purchase.Overall I have to say this is a great value purchase for a mid-level violin for an adult to start on. Critiques below.Sound - According to the instructor the violin has very good tone for its price range. He actually complemented the body, but said the strings are relatively poor and should be replaced. I imagine cheap strings are typical similar to low-mid guitars and you should always invest in the more expensive ones to maximize value.Pegs - Never touching a violin before, I had problems with the pegs. You have to really jam them in there and twist to get them to set. They work, but it would be nice if they had a little more grip on them.Case - The case is very good, hard molded and protects the violin effectively. This likely eliminates 99% of shipping damage that can occur with mailing this kind of equipment around. Case also has a humidity sensor, a cubby for accessories, and a locking hanger to secure the bow.Bow - The bow works very well, no complaints.

Good for a beginner

For the price, you can't complain too much about this violin. It came with the case, rosin and a pretty nice bow as well.The violin itself is somewhat low quality, the edges have some rough joints, and the one I received had a saw slice in the pegbox that went too far in. The pegs constantly slip - some more than others - so it needs to be tuned every single time you pick it up. I had a violin shop here tell me it was not solid wood either, but I can't confirm if thats accurate or not. The sound of the instrument is somewhat flat.That said, a violin that sounds decent for this price is hard to come by, especially considering this package has everything to get you started included. I was also quite impressed with the bow it came with, it seems like a nice quality wood bow and I can't complain about it - very straight and the fittings look nice. If your just getting started and are not sure if you want to play long term, the price and included accessories with this instrument makes it a great choice.

6.5? I Don't Think So!

These are very attractive gloves, but they most certainly are NOT a size 6.5! They were purchased as a gift for a friend; she & I both take a size 6 glove. As I was concerned about finger length (gloves used to be sold that way), I ordered a half size larger. Neither of us could get them on our hands! I'll have to make friends with a VERY skinny person with very small hands and re-gift them to her! N.B.: these gloves RUN SMALL!!

Works great

This cutter works great. Ordered it for cutting letters for a propane truck, and decided to start a small business with it. My only complaint is I thought I was getting the best software with it, but I found out that there are 2 more levels of this software. That was really my fault, for not doing more research before I bought. I had one issue with the cutter cutting over the top of something that it had already cut, but a call to tech support, and I was informed that it just isn't made to pull off of a 50 yd roll. Pull off a little extra before it starts, and no problems! All in all, this is a great cutter for the price, but the software doesn't have all the features unlocked.

I got out of the vinyl business about five years ago. I wanted to get back .I found this plotter . It sounded like a great deal. No one had any bad reviews. So I bought it . Got it in the stated delivery date . Unpacked it an downloaded all the software that was on the disc provided. Then I loaded up a graphic to plot . Only to find out the disc didn't have the drivers for win 7 .I had to call Signwarehouse to get the drivers .Which were fast to respond to my problem with in 24 hours. When I had the correct drivers it is a good plotter .

Gets the basic job done (and sure it will do more as we learn it)

Very happy with this item, purchased used (was as described and works great)... have used it several times already without major issue. As a small business owner, purchasing this equipment in order to change our signage was a no-brainer. We have saved money already and can change our message whenever we want! The software that was included is very basic and does not have many features that we would want. It did take some time to get used to the software, but now that we've played around with it and understand how it works, have no problem getting the basic job done. Working with text is pretty straightforward, but as for images there are additional steps that make it difficult and time-consuming. Maybe we're missing something, but overall am very satisfied with this purchase. My business partner and I are pretty tech savvy and familiar with image editing programs, so maybe that helped.

No!No! is a NO! Buy

Ok so I have been looking for solutions in order to get rid of my chin hair and I was soooo excited to buy the nono because of all the amazing reviews and all. I mean, yeah maybe it works on those white thin hairs that everyone has on their body, but I have been using the nono for a little over a month and still have not seen any change in my hair growth. It's all in those little buffers you use after. Remember those commercials with those buffers that buffed hair away? Well I might as well just use that for the rest of my life. I had hair on my chin today and didn't use the nono, only the buffer, and viola! The hair is completely gone...until the next day. So, this nono is a gimmick and too good to be true. I'll still use it to just see if anything works, but as far as I know, its all in the buffer tool and not the laser. I'm so disappointed in this product; I was ready to gain back my self-confidence, but I'm going back into a slump again because this product is a failure.

Standard Naturepedic Pillow

I was not expecting to like this pillow as much as I do. Because it's cotton it's firmer and has more loft than my previous down alternative pillow. I wasn't sure I wanted a 'firm' pillow, but I did want a pillow that wasn't made out of synthetics or animal products, so my options were pretty much limited to cotton, kapok, and natural latex. Since the smell of natural latex gave me a migraine just from being in the same room with it and I'd never heard of kapok before I settled on organic cotton. After sleeping on this pillow I'm really glad I did.Cotton is going to be firmer than down, but I don't find it firm in the sense that it's uncomfortable. It just supports your head instead of flattening underneath it. After trying it I really prefer it to pillows I've had in the past. I think it might have too much loft for a small child's neck though -- but I have the standard size, not the toddler size. Cotton is supposed to compress after awhile, but I haven't had the pillow long enough to comment on that.I like that it's organic certified, and I like the tightly woven dust barrier. It's not a washable pillow. I use an extra dust mite barrier with it, but maybe that's overkill. For fellow overly-sensitive folk, the pillow did give off a smell, especially when it first arrived. Sort of like bread doe? I slept on it and it didn't give me a headache at all -- lots of smells do! -- so I think it's probably just the natural scent of the cotton.All in all, it's a lovely natural product.

Organically different

Wanted an organic natural 100% pure pillow and this was the best I could find. Pillow arrived and it is VERY FIRM. So, if you are thinking this pillow will give over time, think again. I punch it and move the cotton inside around to try and soften it. The pillow case that contains the cotton is stitched closed so there is not getting inside. It's quality built and as indicated by other reviewers, this pillow does have an odor to it. It's unique smelling and reminds me of a natural smell perhaps but since I've never smelled organic cotton, I can't pinpoint it. I DID wash this (which now I read you shouldn't) and the pillow was like a rock! It was so heavy with water....it took 4 hours in a dryer to dry it...and then still damp, re-dried over 2 days! Don't wash yours! Pillow dried but odor is still there...have had pillow for almost a month now. I like it when I sleep on my side and cradle it in my arms (like I'm holding someone) for extra support of my other arm. Works well! All in all, the pillow is worth the try if you want purity and an organic cotton. Buy from Amazon so you can return if unhappy. Nighty night!

Liked it more than I thought I would!

My wife and I bought these pillows because we have a little one who likes to play on our bed and occasionally sleep there and I wasn't thrilled with the cheap foam pillows we had. We try to buy organic whenever we can, so I was delighted to find these. These are adult-sized pillows, by the way, although many stores seem to list them under "baby" items online, probably because most Naturepedic items are geared for babies/toddlers.The long and short of it is that we love them after having them for four months. They are quite firm, and while I usually prefer a softer pillow, I got used to them very quickly and actually think I sleep better because of them (less neck pain/stiffness). Be aware that the organic cotton fill (Naturepedic also makes one filled with something else that is washable--the organic cotton fill is not) has a noticeable but "natural" smell--my wife likens it to line-dried laundry on a summer day; it's not unpleasant, but it's there when you first get them. After four months, though, the smell has pretty much dissipated. Incidentally, not sure how Amazon fills these orders, but our pillows shipped right from the factory--seems they were made to order (the "production" date stamped on the attached tag was three days after we ordered).I really don't think there's anything I dislike about them--very pleased with this purchase and recommend them highly. We bought a Naturepedic crib mattress before this, and based on these two purchases will be buying a Naturepedic toddler bed mattress soon.

Classy looking piece of furniture.

We bought this unit from another vendor because Amazon did not offer the delivery option we wanted. This is where they bring it to the room of your choice, take off all the wrapping so you can inspect it, put the television into the unit and take the wrapping with them. We put a 50 inch plasma into it. It appears that when we replace our current TV, we can go as high as 55 inches. The unit is darker than it appears online almost like espresso. It is very well made. The only thing you have to do is screw the knobs into the doors. We love it. We highly recommend it.

Expensive, but worth it

There are a lot of massage units on the market, and many of them are cheap, and cheaply made. What I like about this unit is that it's very sturdy and well made. The pressure is very strong and even when I press hard against it, the "fingers" don't slow down. Highly recommend this for tired muscles.

Worth the price

I've suffered with horrible back pain since I was in my early 20's and have always been a proponent of massage therapy. Life has gotten too hectic and I can't afford regular massages, but the pain just got too great. I needed a massager that would actually work and I was willing to pay extra for it. Those thin, cheap mats that sort of vibrate just don't do the trick. (Or anything for that matter) I've tried decent shiatsu massagers but the price always turned me off. I guess if you are in enough pain, price isn't that important! I've been using it daily since I received it and the effects have been obvious. I bought it in conjunction with a back stretcher since I also no longer get chiropractic treatments and my pain is now controlled. I went from stooped over, in agony, with stabbing neck and sciatic pain, to being able to walk without discomfort. I know I need to keep up with it or I'll just revert back to my hard as rock muscles, but it's worth it to take the time for myself. I use it on my neck, between my shoulder blades, and lower back mostly. I was in such bad shape I hurt terribly the first day after I started but now I am much more pliable. Don't let the price scare you off. If regular massage is important to you, this is a great home product. I control the pressure and point it where I need it. I would rather have a home device that can give me the exact massage I want than pay money for someone to do a halfhearted job.

Awesome product

This kneading massager is AMAZING. First off, the kneads are extremely powerful. I put it against the bed and sit on the floor and start from my neck and work it down all the way to my lower back. It's help take out annoying knots from stress and tension. When I use it for a good 20 minutes or so, I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. I would definitely recommend to others.

My 18 lb cavalier king charles spaniel has plenty of room to stand up and turn around but not too much room. I like the blue color of the crate and how easy it is to keep clean. There are no jagged edges and it's pretty sturdy. Recommended.

Lexi loves it! She hangs out in her crate when she's waiting for me to get ready in the morning. The crate door is easy to open and close/lock. Very easy to fold down and very portable.

Perfect size!!

Love the color! Perfect size for our bull terrier. Way easy to put up. Like the slide lock instead of ones that you have to squeeze. I don't mind but it only has front opening (for those that want more options of placement)

Great buy for starting!

The paintball vest was better than expected. The picture doesnt give the vest justice. This is truley something you want if your bigginng paintball. Paintball NINJA!

This whole set is fantastic for the price. I play paintball usually once a month, and this set is a greater starter set coming with everything you need. The vest is the best accessory in this set being well made and extremely durable. The marker is solid, needs some slight adjustment on velocity out of the box, but is the best gun i have ever used. Highly recommend this set if you are about to get into paintball!
