I've been playing guitar for 14 years, I've owned and played alot of different guitars. I was in the market for a new acoustic and I was checking out the mid level martins and breedloves, and then I saw the Fender t-bucket 400. I fell in love. I couldnt justify spending $500 more on one of those guitars because this plays just as nice if not better. The tone is wonderful, bright and crisp, but balanced and smooth. The natural flamed maple is gorgeous. The action is perfect right out of the box and it honestly plays like a dream.Don't be fooled by the price. Most people would think a guitar costing $350 is an entry level guitar. This is not. This guitar is great for any level musician. The other guitarist in my band has a $2000 larrivee and honestly I like this better. Fender hit a home run with this guitar.

What can I say......This is a great guitar..low action fast neck great sound.great electronics..I have a few gibsons that cost much much more. But i like to play this guitar more..It is just a real clean sounding guitar.out of the box it was in perfect tune. I did how ever change the strings to a lighter set....for the money it plays like a million bucks

(NOTE: I am an active musician playing for about 8 years.) I received the Fender T-Bucket 400 CE yesterday around 10 in the morning. Ive been playing it out and testing everything I could to see if it was a good purchase. First of all, the flamed maple is absolutely beautiful on the guitar, it plays well and sounds nice and bright. The action was good when i received it and I just had to tune it up to start. There were no blemishes or bad frets. No buzz is noticable and I'm picky about it so you can be sure it sound's nice. The only problem with this instrument is with the electronics as another reviewer mentioned. The amp i used to test this guitar is a Fender Frontman 212R. At a loud but barley moving the volume knob on the guitar with bass, mid and treble all at 10 it sounds good. But move it any more than that and the feedback is uncontrolable. The only way to get it any louder is to reduce all the tone knobs down to zero then sometimes you can get the volume to halfway. But there shouldnt be a need for that unless your playing a rather large venue, and if you are then you shouldn't be using this guitar. There are way's to get around this problem. But don't let the negative reviews get you down, the guitar is nonetheless absolutely beautiful and a great acoustic with a lesser electronics side. The acoustic is five stars. But for the electronics I'm docking a star.
