4Lots to like here...
By Mark Wayne Skipper
Pros:-Extremely light/portable-Good sound-Surprisingly low latency-Runs off usb bus power-Cuemix software works well-AffordableCons:-Headphone output jack seems a little flimsy-You'll need more inputs to record a group/bandVery surprised at how well this works especially on my very old PC (by todays standards). I would definitely recommend it to singers/songwriters and solo musicians needing to record themselves. It's even better with an external preamp though the built in pre is clean/neutral and perfectly adequate. It would also be great for people looking to transfer their vinyl/tapes to the computer (if you have an external preamp). Im not sure why there isnt more talk about this unit online. For the money it does its thing very well!

4MOTU Microbook - Cheap, convenient and efficient.
By Daniel
I'm a voice talent and a couple of years ago I bought the MOTU Ultralite, a very good sound card I use every day in my home studio. I was looking for something portable for when I'm traveling or I teach using my MacBook Pro. The MOTU Microbook meets necessary: ''it is cheap and fits in a pocket. Their quality is excellent and sounds like the MOTU Ultralite. I use a microphone Neumann TLM 103 and the sound quality is exceptional, and includes software that eliminates latency. All I could criticize is that the headphone volume is somewhat lower compared to the MOTU Ultralite. However, I clarify that I like listening to a lot higher than most people. Finally, the sound card worth it!

5Worked brilliantly
By DC Duffer
Nice sound, quick install. Simple, elegant design. I use it mainly for on-stage laptop performance, only occasional recording so there may be better options for others depending on need. But for ease of use, portability, and sound quality- very highly recommended.
