IMPORTANT: You must buy the Crankbrother's Shoe Shield.The first day I got my pedals I was having a hard time clipping in. The problem was, I was over tightening the cleats and they recessed into my shoe. Another problem I was having was the rubber/plastic bottom of my Shimano mountain bike shoe has a tacky rubbery surface and made it difficult to slide the clip into the pedals. The rubber surface of my shoe created so much tension there was little to no float.As soon as I bought the Shoe Shield it took care of all my problems. Now it's super easy to clip in. The metal surface from the Shoe Shield created a smooth surface which the pedal floats over. I rode Beebops for 10 years which are famous for float. The Eggbeaters are a perfect replacement and they're better in every way.If you read a lot of reviews that complain about the Eggbeaters lacking float, they probably didn't install the "Shoe Shield". Wish they included it with their pedals instead of charging $10 for it...Lastly, if you weigh more than 200lbs you can't use these pedals. And the Eggbeaters 11s are 4x the price of the Eggbeater 3s which are made of steel. I used Beebops for 10 years and would still be riding them if the steel hadn't worn to the point where I was slipping out. I personally wanted a stronger material than steel that would not wear over time and therefore I bought the Ti pedals instead. Bragging rights are a bonus.

Really ligth, good so far thanks, better than prior pedal 2 ligther and same performance recommended my weigth is 75k

Excellent product, a bit high for a component. but, it is very reliable and durable. very light as well. I use them for both road and tri bikes that i own. I will have to get another pair so there is no need for me to remount when i use the other bike.
