Bought this cover to replace my snap cover of 12 years. Thought about the low profile, but this one is about $150 cheaper. It has 3 support beams made into the cover (rolls up and out with the cover), 6 mounting brackets (3 each side) with groves that sit inside the groves on the rail, and can not be opened without the tailgate open (unless its cut open, making it useless), can be rolled up or out with one person, and has a hook and loop set up to secure the sides of the cover. Low profile has these features also. Low profile also has automatic tensioners and one handed cover release lever (on the left-side). This cover has manual tensioners and has a release lever on the left and right rails to release the cover (releasing one at a time). This cover comes with a 5 year warranty from Truxedo covering defects in material and workmanship. The low profile comes with a limited lifetime warranty covering defects in material and workmanship. Low profile cover also come in different colors. It only took me about half an hour to install and adjust the rails by myself. With this cover I can also use my aftermarket hold downs that mount to the inside of the bed rails, with the low profile I can not get the full use of the hold downs. The low profile cover sits almost flush with bed rails and sits inside the bed rails. This cover sits on top of the bed rails, making it about half an inch taller, giving you a wee bit (just a wee bit) more storage under the cover. With tailgate closed, both covers can not be opened. So if you have a locking tailgate, your stuff is secure unless the cover is cut open.
