This is a beautiful desk, looks even better than the pictures. It's solid too, not like those flimsy office store desks made of particle board. This thing is made of aluminium, glass and real cherry wood.Glass: The black glass top has a matte finish too it so no smudge issues and is also more scratch resistant. The glass works fine with my laser mouse too.Aluminum: The aluminium frame feels as solid as steel. It's got a good weight to it but not so heavy you can't slide it around if you need to.Wood: The cherry panels and accents look gorgeous. This is real wood, not simulated and not a veneer. This gives the wood a richness you don't see with less expensive pieces.Extras: The keyboard drawer works well, is solid. They built in some really good cable management into this, it's truely a smart design. The panels are secured by notches and magnets. This design allows you to fold out the panels to manage cables more easily and then fold back in.I've had it for more than 6 months, I'm hard on my furniture and so far it's still looking brad new. The only cons being price and for maybe "assembly required".I also purchased BDI Sequel Return 6002 - Natural Stained Cherry and BDI Sequel Low Mobile Pedestal 6007 - Natural Stained Cherry. They all fit together to make my dream work-space.Everything comes together to create a beautiful looking solid work space that performs well.

The desk was perfect and was easy to assemble. Fit our into our office perfect and style of furniture perfect.
