These worked so well, I wore them even when I wasn't skiing! There was hail, rain, snow, incredibly cold winds high up off the lifts and nothing got through these pants! I wiped out so many times, skis flying and I came back with one small snag. I wanna wear them right now, lol and I live in LA. Also, sizing was good, you can adjust the waist to make them smaller. When I go by size charts, I end up with boat like size pants; so I got these in a small and had much room to spare. To help anyone out there I'm about 5'4" 118lbs and no waist to speak of, like 28" on a skinny day. No hips either (meaning narrow), so when I go by the size chart, apparently I'm a size med or large!! Who knew....ha ha
