The Furman M-8x2 Merit X Series 9 Outlet 15 Amp Professional Rack Mount Power Conditioner with Surge Protection is a great buy. I bought this though Amzon, and paid a little more then going to Guitar Center. The few dollars more did not diminish the value of this product. I put this in my rack and it cut the buzz that I was having. I am very pleased with the simplicity of this unit. Like I said everything that you want and nothing that you don't. I will be buying another soon.

This is a simple, no frills power conditioner and surge protector. I have used Furman products for years and they are all well-bult and long lasting. This one should be no exception.

I have power outages all the time in my area, so I bought this to protect my AV and other equipment that I already had plugged into a regular power surger. My lamp would blink or get brighter, then dimmer all the time, but since I plugged it into THIS power CONDITIONER, the lamp stays a constant brightness and has not blinked since. This item really helps condition the power to stay level so you don't get those little fluctuations throughout the day. I want to replace all my other "standard" power surge strips with this one that is not just for a lightening strike but also keeps the power stay level and steady on a daily basis. Regular power surgers don't condition the power. Price is steep, so can't buy many now but, I hope I can afford more later.
