Product Description
The New RIFFE Padauk Series spearguns are an exact replica of our famous Competitor Teak Series with exception to the wood. We replaced the teak with an African blood wood, commonly known as Padauk. When using a dense, straight grain hardwood such as Padauk we are able to produce the speargun barrels by eliminating the lamination process to hold straightness. Our new series of spearguns are very attractive, not only the way they look, but how they are priced.

I use a cressi sub but i wanted to up my game so i bought this riffe and i am very happy with it. it came with everything it said it would and it came with new line and shock cord as well. double band is enough to get the job done. its one solid piece. the price is affordable compare to others. if your thinking about buying this i would say do it. the shipping was fast and nothing was damaged. Great gun! I spear with a lot of guys that use the Riffe Teak Competitor and noticed no real difference between their gun and mine. I've only had it for a few weeks but so far I am a huge fan. As I understand it the Padauk model is a solid piece of wood as opposed to the layered Teak. In the long haul the Teak will probably have a longer shelf life but for the price I am extremely happy with the Padauk.

If your contemplating getting this model riffe over the more expensive competitor series, chose this one. I've shot both and i personally would not pay for the more expensive competitor over the padauk. Great gun just take care of the wood!!!
