Got this for my nephew turning 3. My own kids and all of the nieces and nephews (age range 4 to 13) all got drawn into playing with the blocks. The magnets are strong and work really well.

I bought these as a gift for my husband, along with a set of wheels (4) and the Tegu Jungle Pocket Pack. He and my 2-year old daughter love them. The blocks make a great executive toy, but are also great fun for a little kid. I would recommend buying some wheels, as they add a whole other dimension - not only can you make vehicles, but they also look like eyes for animals, or interesting robot parts. Structures can actually pivot at the magnetic joints, so we've had fun making robots with moving arms, and some rudimentary transformers.I can't recommend this toy highly enough!

Someone gave us a similar Tegu set years ago from Amazon. The set has become a refrigerator toy, our only refrigerator toy, and has sparked some very creative ideas.
