Wow--What an excellent product! I bought it for my Hobie Revolution Kayak. You may scoff at the price at first as I did. But if you do your research you'll find this is the best option. The flag doubles as its storage bag and it breaks down much like a tent pole with elastic between sections. I use the padded base and stick it into my back extra rod holder. I have a Scotty flush mount I will be putting in the way back. All of my fish mounts on my Revo are RAM but didn't see the need for the flag to ever "rotate" as a RAM mount does, and liked to have a simple and smaller straight keyed rod of a Scotty. They are also working on their own proprietary mount system, as well as a system for taking self-photos, like when I catch a fish! Excellent company--I can't say enough good things about it. I found the mass produced options cheaply made and a compromise.
