Product Description

Waterproof pH Testers are great for outdoor applications such as taking pH measurements in lakes and streams. Designed to float in water, you can even attach a line to the housing for easy retrieval. Valox sensor housing resists most chemicals. This waterproof pH Tester has a replaceable sensor for easy maintenance. Double-junction electrode sensor handle wastewater and solutions containing sulfides, heavy metals, and TRIS. Electrode sensor offers a clog-resistant Kynar junction and a recessed, glass pH bulb to protect against breakage. The keypad clicks to confirm operation, and allows access to a variety of functions. Calibrate up to three pH points with the auto-buffer recognition at both USA and NIST standard buffers. Additional features include automatic temperature compensation (ATC), hold function, auto-off function, self-diagnostic error messages, and a three-segment battery-life indicator.

Oakton ph meter

This Oakton model 10 works ok. It requires frequent calibration, at least once a week, (up to 3 points).It will compensate for temp. but does not show temp. It meets my state health department requirements.Its worth the $100 it cost with shipping, but not much more.

First pH Meter used

I was given this meter to use in the oilfield as part of my job duties. I calibrated the unit and it needs calibration frequently as mentioned in another review. Calibration fluid used was 7 and 10 and when calibrating the 7 base fluid its reads 7.1. I have stored the unit in its case and then inside a stainless case. However during the 3 months now and had two issues. First was the unit would not come on when it was 40F outside had to tap it after pressing the on/off button. Even tried inserting in my belt line to warm it up but that didn't really seem to help. Second issue was the auto shut off did not work as I went to use it yesterday and the batteries were completely dead. In total I have read about 50-75 samples of 7-11pH water clay solutions. I HOPE it lasts for the price as I HOPE when I have to replace it that I HOPE its not the best of the pH testers.

This product comes packaged very well. Is SO adorable..the picture doesn't do it enough justice. The bears are sweet. Vintage looking stuffed bears with great costumes. The bandstand itself is plastic but still looks rich. The actual xylophone pads are a nice brass metal. You have volume control. Music comes out of the bandstand, as well as from the metal xylophone pads. There is a volume control that allows you to turn bandstand music up or down to the point where you only hear the brass metal pitches from xylophone or you can get a combo of bandstand music and brass xylophone together. The music from the bandstand is not as clear as it could be, but still a nice sound. The xylophone sound is clear and sweet. Definitely worth purchasing. Useful year round as you have a choice of Christmas music or can switch to everyday music. 25 Christmas carols and 25 Classic songs. Down by the Old Mill Stream, For Me and My Gal, Danny Boy, Let Me Call You Sweetheart and many other classics. If you don't know these songs...you should! Wonderful!!!!

Fun For All

I love this fun bear trio - got it for my grand-neices, and actually enjoyed it so much myself I was hoping they'd give it back to me. Plays many different tunes, including drum rolls and realistic movement from the bears. Sounds pretty good. A little pricey, but much less expensive than from the upscale dept. stores that were also selling it. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 just because of the price.

Toshiba Laptop Screen

I had to replace the screen in my son's computer because he had lain it on the floor by his bed and I stepped on it by mistake and cracked it. It came right away in good condition and the packaging was in perfect shape. It installed easily in about 20 minutes (I used You Tube as a guide) and my son learned how to replace a screen in a laptop, so it was educational too. It works great. Once you know the exact one you need, a laptop is easier to replace than a whole computer.

Excellent monitor for price - poor manual & adjustment controls

I have had an Acer 22" monitor for 3 years and it has been excellent. This monitor is even better in its picture quality which is tops. I love this monitor. I would have given it 5* except for its poor manual which is on the CD you receive and the fact that the picture controls are under the front of the monitor where they cannot be seen and are therefore difficult to use. The monitor came out of the box in full working condition. I used the DVI connection and had to set the resultion to the 1920x1080 native resolution. There were no bad pixels. The monitor automatically sized the screen and all other parameters. However, the brightness was much too high. I had to chat online with Acer to find out where the picture controls were since the poor manual did not show it. There are five push buttons under the right front end of the monitor which are not easy to use. The manual again was not specific in how and in what sequence to use the buttons to make the changes I wished. I had to fiddle with the controls for almost 20 minutes until I finally was able to determine how to manuever to get what I wanted. I turned the brightness down from 72 to 50 and the monitor is still plenty bright. One of the adjustments is the time the on screen display stays on. The default is 10 seconds which is much too short when you are struggling to figure out how to make changes. I strongly suggest the first thing you do when you bring up the onscreen display is to change the time to 20 seconds to give you the time you require to make the changes. There is no HDMI input, but it comes with both the DVI-D cable and the VGA cable.You will not go wrong buying this monitor provided you have the patience to fiddle with the picture controls. This is only a one time setup so it is not a major reason not to buy it.

Good product for the money

Purchased two of these monitors for a dual monitor set up. Both work very well. Other reviewers commented on the significant quality difference between VGA and DVI, but I can see no difference between the two input qualities, and mine are right next to each other. The only issue that I can see is that if your desk is a tiny bit wobbly, the monitors shake a tiny bit; cheap bases. The buttons being on the bottom are also somewhat of a pain, but if you're like me and don't change the settings often, that makes no difference. Also, they were shipped in their original boxes, which I thought was kind of cheap. You'd think they'd put them in another box, just to protect from being thrown around while en route.

Excellent budget monitor

I bought this monitor about a month ago and I am very happy with it. I knew what i was getting since i paid only $110 but i was pleasantly surprised with the monitor. The monitor is very bright and the colors are very good. There not much of any adjustable option except for maybe tilt. The lack of HDMI connection is bit of a downer but they have provided both VGA and DVI cables along with the monitor. The monitor is also a bit on the heavier side and the stand is plastic though strong enough. No connection for USB or sound.The most important fault in this monitor maybe the lack of a decent OSD to adjust monitor settings.Other than that this monitor is excellent bang for your buck!!

Good Fit, But Wore OutQuickly

Bought these shoes about 8 months ago. They were reasonably priced and worked well at first. However, the stitching on the side of the shoe started coming undone a couple months ago. Now, there is a gaping hole in the side of the shoe. Might have been a one off experience, but I am certainly not buying this model again.

Face scratches and chips easily...

Ok I ordered this for my girlfriend and it came and was as nice as it looked. Initial impression was definitely five star.Easy to set etc, I couldn't really fault it.After months of use however, she showed me the watch and there was a huge chip out of the face of the watch on the 'glass.' The face of the watch is obviously cheaply constructed and scratches and chips easily.So be warned- its also expensive and not worth it to replace the face...If you buy it- it is nice, and does look good however just be extra delicate with it!!!!

great item, but damaged

The picture of the item is true to form. I am very happy with the looks of the item, but it arrived damaged. I am not sure how the damaged occurred since the box had no damage, nor the interior styrofoam. It was very well packaged; however one corner is dented, with the coating broken from the metal. I need to insert a shim under the corner to even the lamp, as there was a 3/8 difference with the rest of the legs.

Nike has a double-winner with this Training shoe. Good looks and great performance.The all black, low-profile platform looks good in casual and semi-casual attire. The non-slip traction of the soles make this footwear more than competent on my wet boat deck.I'd definitely recommend the shoe to anyone looking for a comfortable, inexpensive, name-brand sneaker that looks very presentable.

This is a great deal and can save you some money providing for ease of repair. Please be aware it does not include cable and/or inverter. Most commonly associated LCD issues and repairs require cable and inverter replacement. Make sure to order all three to ensure proper repair.

Excellent Speakers

I heard these speakers when visiting my son's house. I was blown away by the sound and ordered a set for myself. I ditched my old 5.1 speaker and sub-woofer system that I bought a year ago and couldn't wait to get these connected. Best sounding speakers I've ever owned. I would recommend them to anyone. Easy connection, unbelievable deep bass and clear highs. I couldn't be happier!

These sound as good as the A5's but are way more practical to use at a computer desk, and a whole lot less expensive. Actually the bass is better than the A5's due to the seperate (but large) subwoofer. I placed the sub on the floor and the two speakers fit well on my small computer desk. There is also a grill on the speakers and the sub which is nice, the A5's didn't have any protection for the speaker cones. Not really sure what the THX is other than a selling point but what the heck, they sound great for such a compact package!
