I used the rubber on the back of boat carpet- the fumes made me high- it was tough to apply- but the end result so far seems good- I'll see how it wears over the next couple years for the full review.

I like this stuff..

I agree with some that it's not easy to apply. It's quite thick. I endedup using very wide putty knife and small roller. But it's very forgivingof areas that I didn't get smoothed down. It fills rough areas and self levels.You won't see any stroke marks. I did an area about 10 by 10. I'm not sureI would use THIS method for much bigger areas as my wrist was getting a workout.But it really looks good..nice smooth finish. Unfortunately here in Florida the liveoak seems to drop leaves for 3 months and I am getting some leaves stuck in it.I used the same stuff a year ago in an area with some leaks (using this on my camper by the way) and it has held up well. Granted a year isn't long. Bottom line it's kinda pricey but I feel like it's 10 times better than the white silicon roofing product I've tried before. That was thin.

WOW!!! Better than expected!

I'm so happy I took a chance on this area rug! I ordered the largest size and it actually makes my smallish living room look even bigger! It arrived 4 days early, which was an extra bonus. (ordered on the 5th, arrived on the 8th, wasn't due til the 13th)It's beautiful, a statement piece for sure, heavyweight (41 lbs) so I knew it'd lay nice and flat. I just unrolled it so the one end is a little curled right now but with some books on it I'm sure it'll be flat soon. It has a nice feel with bare feet and is just so amazing when you see it firsthand.It arrived rolled in a heavy plastic wrap with sturdy cardboard ends to protect it. A great investment for a beautiful room! I couldn't be happier.Edit 3 days later: still beyond happy with this rug and I ordered a second one for another room last week. Of note, I notice as of today it's no longer offered directly from Amazon.com LLC, rather another party, so I can't speak to their fast shipping or customer service, but the rug is a great find.

Great Audio Interface

This unit is an amazing piece of equipment. It is extremely versatile in its application; there are tons of amp models available to suit any type of music. The presets are it's only weak point, especially in the high-gain area. However, once you learn how to use the included software (POD Farm) to it's fullest capability, you can get tones that are nearly indistinguishable from those of high-end tube amplifiers (on recordings, at least).I also use this as an audio interface for my Korg M50 workstation. The recording quality is crystal clear and the latency is negligible. This is an excellent unit for someone who is an amateur producer like myself.The software has somewhat of a learning curve to dial in good guitar tones, but after the initial struggle, it is relatively simple to get the tone you're looking for.

Highly satisfactory

The whole sword feels very sturdy. The blade is one solid piece of stainless steel; it is absolutely beautiful. It is not sharpened, so if you're looking for somewhere between a toy and real this is definitely the one you want. It is not too dangerous, but if you aren't careful I'm sure you could hurt someone or break something. Definitely not for a child, it weighs a fair amount, if you want to use it as a one handed sword (like it is meant to be held) you need to have a little bit of muscle.

Warning about the rechargeable battery kit...

The Torch is great! Wow, really! This review is a WARNING about the Kit of 4 RCR123A 3.0V 900mAh Rechargeable Li-Ion Protected Batteries with a Smart Charger product that is recommended when purchasing this light on Amazon.The battery kit seems good enough. But I bought the kit for my Bushnell Bone Collector Edition 200 Lumen HD Torch Flashlight and the batteries I received in the kit don't fit inside the flashlight.The battery tube in the light has very tight tolerances and regular batteries just fit. These rechargeable batteries begin to fit and then become stuck as they slide in. I had to drill into the batteries and extract them. I can see that there are slight differences in the body construction of these batteries when compared to the ones that ship with the light - and others I buy in two-packs from the grocery store. They must be slightly larger.

Bushnell HD Torch--Just as advertised.

The Bushnell HD Torch performs just as advertised. The flashlight body itself is very well constructed and feels good in the hand. When held at chest level and shone on the ground, the lighted area isn't much bigger than a square foot, but the "novelty" of the square beam and the brightness and clarity of the light itself soon help to adjust to this feature. If you were searching the ground for a small, lost object, this flashlight would be ideal. I bought the Bone Collector edition because I wanted the 200 lumens. With the strobe feature, this much concentrated light would be very distracting to any would be intruder. I've only had it for several weeks, but overall at this point, I am very pleased.

Bushnell Bone Collector Edition 200 Lumen HD Torch Flashlight.This light is a ton of fun to use, the square beam is a mind blower! It makes everything look like it's on TV! But here's the serious stuff:It's a large flashlight. Larger than I expected actually and that's great, because I really don't like a light that is going to get lost in a drawer, I'd say it's in between a "C" size Maglight and a typical tactical weapon mounted light. Great weight too..perfect in my opinion, just enough heft to feel like it's worth what you pay for it. The light it produces it fantastic..clean, white, & bright. But the only thing you are really going to notice is how indescribably cool the square beam is...it just blows everything your mind is trained to expect from a flashlight away.The light is perfectly uniform and a sharply defined square from edge to edge..simply awesome. Even my 15 year old daughter thinks it's awesome. I have a weakness for flashlights, well OK I'll admit it, I have a stockpile of flashlights, some of the best and brightest...but this thing out "COOLS" all of them, it's as good a "'scuse me while I whip this out" flashlight as my Fenix TK-70 and costs 1/4 as much!I can see this as a practical, useful, and even intelligent flashlight purchase and really would look at it that way but... it's just so darn much fun to own I haven't really examined the practical side yet.Get one and you will think so too.

A toy for a boy's boy!

Now this is a toy for a boy's boy! Do you have any idea how big these are? Look at the dimensions!I know, what can I say, I knew that these were full-sized toys, but I must say that when I unpacked them I was quite surprised. The truck and the excavator each comes in its own box. The toys are large, and quite easy to play with. They are also remarkably detailed, and look like display items rather than toys. But, once your kid gets a look at this thing, he, or indeed she(!), won't be able to keep their hands off of it.Right, they are made of plastic, and you will want to avoid giving them to children under the 3 year age limit - there are too many pieces that a little one will be able to pull off and perhaps swallow.I gave this to my nephew, who was wowed by it, and immediately began playing with them in his back yard. (Large toys, such as this one, are more backyard friendly, I have always thought.) He used the excavator to dig in his sandbox, and generally had a great time.Now, this is not a cheap toy. But, if you are tired of seeing kids getting masses of cheap toys that they do not appreciate, and merely walk over, then consider a high-quality toy like this one. Good, but not as sturdy as it looks

These are well made compared to many of the trucks made today, but are still not the quality of past Tonka trucks. They are made of heavy plastic, which is a plus as they do not rust when left outside. However, there are parts, like the outside mirrors, that are quickly broken off by children as well as over-zealous adults. The trucks are labeled as to be only for children over 3 due to small parts/choking issues. I think most of the small parts will be ripped off after the first few uses.All in all, they are good trucks. However, for the price I would have expected more. I think I will stick with the less attractive, less detailed, but indestructible solid wood trucks.

My nephew LOVES this set!

I'm generally hesitant to give toys like this to my nephew because it's such a stereotypically "boys" toy- I'm glad I did, however- he LOVES it! Although the truck/loader aren't built like they used to be (plastic rather than metal), nothing is these days, and for this category of toy, these are well made.The detail and moving parts are fantastic- he loves rolling the loader through the sand/dirt, scooping up sand and gravel and dumping it in the truck. He played in his yard and sandbox with these for about 2-hours yesterday, and then wanted to return to them later that night.Overall a good deal, a good toy, and a lot of fun!

Needs rain water drain holes

Nice product. I would buy one.I got one as a gift this christmas. look strong and durable and is a very good big size for kitchen waste for a family of two. will take a long tine to fill it up.one con- base does collect a pool of water which may be a problem in freezing rain areas and in mosquito breeding (warm climate ) areas. If redesigned they could have a notch to drain the water out. I drilled some drain holes in mine. Factory suggested tipping it up to drain the water but thats not always workable every time you add material, which might be only once every several days. it rains a lot here and mosquitoes breed quickly

Works, But Needs Phase Coupler

I bought this Boosterlinc to supplement my old Radio Shack timer-controller that just didn't seem to be working as well as it used to. I suspect that was because of all the signal-diminishing TVs and computers I've added in the house over the years (TVs and computers serve to diminish the control signals.) I plugged the Boostelinc into the nearest electrical receptacle, but had no discernable results. Then, as per the Boosterlinc installation instructions, I moved the Boosterlinc to the receptacle nearest the house power box which resulted in good control of all modules on the same electrical circuit (i.e., same phase circuit). However, there was still no control of modules on the other (i.e., opposite phase) circuit. I tried bridging the two circuits (in the power box) with a 0.1 microfarad capacitor to achieve phase coupling (a trick suggested on some web sites), but that didn't work. So, I then bought the SIGNALINC PLUG-IN PHASE COUPLER (FOR 3-WIRE 220V DRYERS) on Amazon and now have total control of modules all over the house. So, Boosterlinc is a good product that does what it's supposed to, but depending on your circumstances you may need the phase coupler as well to achieve best results.

PLC Booster Works

I have had the old Radio Shack version in our last home probably 15 years ago. I bought the X10 system for our new home and installed it myself. In this home we are powered from a 100amp electrical service and we had various weird intermittant system triggers. Many times the wall switches would not respond or some would seemingly come on with no controller input. I had contacted the Home Automation support several times and they exchanged several modules that were faulty. By the way, these newer X10 dimmers work differently. The old system came on and off like a switch and the dimmer function was available if needed. The new X10 design has a very stupid function of dimming on to a preset level based on how long you hold the button and then dimming off. To me, this design is a major problem for most people who just want a switch function with a dimmer option. I think if they had made that dim-on / dim-off as an option in the module it would be ok, but the old style off and on is far better in my opinion. After fussing with all the grounds on the many modules I have installed, most of the intermittant issue was resolved; however, some modules would still not turn on remotely or have dimmer control. The Home Automation support people were of no help. I read as much as I could on these PLC systems and decided to try this signal booster. Pricey, but did the trick!

I bought one of these because all of the outlets in a couple of rooms in my house had no X-10 response. I tried unplugging everything and using noise filters, to no avail. I then bought one of these signal boosters. I initially placed it in an outlet in another area of the house (the instructions said this was one of the many options to try), and it had no effect on the dead rooms. But then I placed this in one of the outlets in the dead rooms, and bingo!, all of the outlets immediately had 100% response. So for me, problem solved... for $99.

Useful winter accessory for Generac 5875 20KW

After Hurricane Irene I had professionally installed a Generac Guardian 20KW generator, which I have reviewed on Amazon.Generac sells two accessories for conditions where the generator is exposed to below freezing temperatures for a prolonged period: (1) a battery warmer, which is called the cold weather kit, and (2) an engine block heater, which is called the extreme cold weather kit. Just as your car won't start if you have a dead battery or frozen engine block, neither will this generator.Note: You can install the battery warmer without also installing the engine block heater, but not vice versa.I had both installed by the same contractor who installed the generator.I am glad that I installed this product because this winter the temperatures in my area have been abnormally cold (single digits for a week).Bottom line: If you live in an area where the winters are cold, you should really get the battery warmer and engine block heater. With installation my cost for both was $425.

I got an alarm on my remote monitor (another useful accessory, which I have reviewed on Amazon) to inspect the battery. Fortunately it was okay; the bitter cold had triggered the alarm just to have someone check the battery. My contractor had to reset something on the generator, and then the alarm stopped flashing.I have no doubt that without this item I could have wound up with a dead battery in my generator.Bottom line: If you live in an area where the winters are cold, you should really get the battery warmer and engine block heater. With installation my cost for both was $425.
