Save your money and get a different rain cover

I bought this rain cover thinking it would be a better option that the City Select rain covers, which I thought were too expensive. I learned that you get what you pay for.Unfortunately, the quality of this rain cover is not great, a clear tip off when the package arrives looking very homemade. It only fits over the stroller when the seats are in the forward facing position, completely upright. It secures to the handle with elastic ties. Nothing holds it on the front so my kids can easily lift it and it blows around with only slight breeze. The plastic itself is thinner than other rain covers (Jeep, Maclaren) and has become sticky and cloudy when the others still look like new. Bottom line: I would not use it with rain as on the City Select as a double as there's no way this cover would stay in place long enough to keep the stroller underneath dry.This said, it actually is a fairly good rain cover for the City Select when used as a single, as it hangs several inches below the seat and protects the basket and its contents. I left the second seat brackets on to help the cover stay on. Used in this manner, my baby could not kick it off and stayed dry when it rained.The Baby Jogger Rain Canopy For City Select Seat is a marginally better option, but insanely expensive. It is also form fitting so it will not work with winter bunting.I found that Jeep Standard Stroller Weather Shield which sells for a fraction of the price does a pretty good job of covering up each seat, even with winter bunting in place (I have LL Bean's which is very warm and fits the seats well). The rain cover can be used on each canopy, either forward or rear facing, and has enough overhang to protect the bunting and stay in place (adding a strao underneath with velcro might help secure it a bit more). I've used it in light rain and during cold weather in general and it's worked fairly well. My only observation is that under very cold temperatures, the plastic on the Jepp covers becomes very stiff and a little hard to handle, but for $16 for both, who can complain?So save your money and buy either the City Select rain covers or a Jeep universal rain cover (for year around use) for each canopy if you need rain cover for your double stroller.

Great, lightweight rain cover

I bought this product purely because we were going to Paris in May and rain showers are a given. I was pleasantly surprised with this City Select Double Stroller rain cover which exceeded my expectations and was a GREAT buy even after reading the previous persons review. They have made improvements to the cover by adding Velcro tabs on the front to keep it in place which worked well. If they added one more inch of plastic to the front part of the cover that goes over the feet it would be perfect.Because we were travelling, "light" was the optimal word. The cover was extremely light compared to another brand that I had for a single stroller which is probably double the weight, it was a pleasure to toss into the basket and keep handy "just in case". For the week that I used it on a daily basis I did not bother with folding it neatly and putting it back into the cover - I folded it and put it into the stroller basket, having said that I was not negligent - the rain cover held up well. It is by no means delicate, I think it is well made and like any plastic it is susceptible to sharp objects, heat and ripping - common sense.The rain cover is not meant to be used for any other position besides when both seats are facing forwards in a stadium position BUT because I was out and about all day every day I used the stroller for my kids naps, the seats were turned facing me and tilled anywhere from gradual recline to a fully reclined position, I put the sun visors up and the rain cover fitted over just fine even though it was probably not designed to fit this way. The kids were dry which is the most important thing.I never had a problem with my goodies in the stroller basket getting wet, I think the length of the cover is just fine unless walking through a hurricane where rain is coming from all direction. I bought this rain cover to keep my kids and the stroller seat dry which is exactly what it did. Once we got home I dried it out completely and packed it away, I have not seen any discoloration or cloudiness as yet. As you can tell I'm extremely satisfied with this rain cover, I hope you are too.

perfect for the job

This was delivered quickly. It does have a smell, like opening a new shower curtain but they cover the carriage and keep the kids dry.
