Affordable Crib that Does Not Disappoint!

I was looking for an inexpensive but quality crib for our youngest daughter and found the Nursery 101 Concord Classic. What a fantastic buy! It was easy to assemble, looks fabulous and is very solid in construction! We purchased the white color, which is a true white (not antique) and were very pleased. I highly recommend this crib to parents/grandparents who don't want to spend an arm and a leg but refuse to sacrifice quality. :o)

Affordable and looks good in the nursery

Received this as a gift for my baby shower and couldn't wait to put it together. I'm almost 8 months pregnant and with the help of my 15year old daughter (because I couldn't wait for hubby to do it) we got it put together in about 30 minutes. With her holding the sides together and me screwing the screws in, it was a breeze. The entire fitting together only needed 16 screws and an allen key. There are 3 height levels for the mattress platform and it was recommended using the highest level for a newborn. I was a little concerned about the quality of the crib after taking them out of the box and feeling how light the sides were but once fitted together and screwed in tightly it was very sturdy.As everyone else has stated the hardware is exposed but with the cherry color it is not very noticeable as you can see from the picture uploaded by Amazon. I've also uploaded a picture of the fitted product without the mattress since I've just ordered a mattress from Amazon and I'm currently waiting for it to get here and my nursery is not finished as yet. I'll also be getting the matching LaJobi Nursery 101 Concord Dressing Table, Cherry to complete the set.

Easy to put together, and very handsome..if you're worried about hole caps READ THIS!!!

I finally got a crib for my 5 month old, and I'm so pleased with my purchase. I didn't want to spend a ton of money on the crib, because although I plan to use it for future babies, I know that with such a tall baby he will probably outgrow this even as a day bed before he's 2 years old.First, shipping was super fast. I received the crib the next business day after I ordered it (ordered Friday, received it Monday), and this was after selecting two-day free shipping with Amazon Mom.Second, it was very easy to open the packaging and remove the parts. I don't mean that the box was busted open, just that it wasn't like a puzzle to remove the parts and organize them for assembly. That said, assembly was extremely simple. I have put together many other pieces of furniture before, and this was very simple to figure out. It would have definitely been easier with a second set of hands to hold the spring portion up while I put the screws in, but it is not impossible to do alone. It comes with all the of the hardware needed and an allen wrench. Also, it was very smart of the manufacturers to include a plastic envelope for the instructions, and it is attached securely to the spring portion (rests underneath your mattress once assembled) so that you always have the instructions and a place to put the allen wrench when you need to convert the crib or disassemble it.I think that this crib is really good looking. The finish is beautiful.I have seen a LOT of reviews complaining that there are no hardware covers for the screws. I'm going to address that; when you have a young infant, leaving hardware covers OFF of furniture is a safety issue!!Hole caps are made to fit snugly, but also made so that they're relatively easy to pop off...it's a decorative item, but not meant to be permanent. When you think about how little a hole cap has to be, it's small enough for a baby to choke on, especially as this is a "day bed" convertible crib, as the baby gets older and more dexterous, it will be no problem for your little one to remove a hole cap and put it in their mouth. If you are concerned because the hardware is showing and you think it's ugly, consider the safety of your baby and forget about it.Update: forgot to mention, I purchased a Kolcraft 150 Therapeutic mattress to go with this. Fit perfectly, and both products claim to be standard crib size. I also bought a Breathable bumper to go into it, also fit perfectly. Using both the short and long panel as directed. I couldn't be more pleased with this product!!All in all, a really lovely piece of furniture for your baby's nursery, and at this price, so worth it!
