By Mat
New Balance has become the sole provider of my cleats with this shoe. Light, reasonably priced, and looks sick. This shoe feels like it was custom made for my foot when I put it on. It doesn't feel like a typical cleat in that you don't have the pressure points on the soles of your feet most cleats usually do. Comfort, style, price and weight are all 5 star rating from me.

By MikieZ
I have a wide foot (it doesn't measure out to be wide, but only wide shoes are comfortable). I don't understand it either...I just accept it. My 10 year old softball shoes are a NB 502 (10.5 4E) they fit great but are wearing out. Bought a pair of Nike Keystone "wide" and they were to tight. I then spent two weeks researching foot sizing and shoe sizing...looking for the perfect pair of shoes. Every chart I saw said a 10.5 "D" foot is 4.1" wide and an "E" foot is 4.3" wide. At the widest point mine is only 3.8". To be safe I ordered these "EE" shoes. THE SHOES ONLY MEASURES 4.0" ACROSS AT THE WIDEST POINT. At the wide point, by the little toe, this MF-002 last then takes a nasty angle and heads straight for the big toe, they really pinched my poor little toes. The New Balance web site (I told you I researched this) says the MF-002 last has a "roomy toe box"...not! I don't get it. How can shoes that are supposed to be a "EE" measure out to be less wide than an "E" foot width? After I post this review I will be contacting New Balance, I intend to ask them the same question. Don't get me wrong. The reason for the one star is not the quality of the shoes. If you have a "normal" foot, these look to be great shoes. My dissapointment is all about the misleading sizing...and the fact that I was forced to wear my old beaters to a tournament this past weekend.

By John Mix
The shoes seem to be nicely made but they are horribly undersized. It appears that they're almost 1 size too small. I've returned and reordered an entire size larger and hope that it wasn't just the specific pair of shoes that was too small.
