4A good airport stroller that can be gatechecked
By Justbooking
At only 14.5 lbs, the Lmntree is the lightest twin stroller available and one of the rare twin strollers that can be gate checked when traveling, under new guidelines established by many airlines that limit stroller weight to 20 lbs. Strollers over this weight have to be checked with luggage and damage is normally not covered unless it's in the original shipping box - for all purposes, making other double strollers a nightmare to use when flying. The stroller is mom-designed which might account for its low price, super light weight, compact 40" x 7" x 10" fold, and larger than average width - 36" x 36" x 42" opened. In all, it makes for a good travel and errand stroller, keeping in mind that it may not go through many doors, fit between parked cars, or go through the check out lane at your grocery store (most doubles are 31" wide or less). But for open paved spaces and the mall, not a problem. This is as non-frills as you can get and not meant for heavy duty everyday use. It's bare-bones, no recline, no weight limit specified (although it says kids can use it too), it only has a three point harness, no storage, no carry strap. All things considered, it works for both air & public transportation. Yes, its mom & pop website has a different brand stroller pictured (?!) and it is NOT the best lightweight stroller available as advertised, but given the low price point it's still worth considering if only because there are so few options for air, subway or bus travel with twins. Any stroller that can contain two toddlers running around the airport all the way up to the gate is a winner in my book, even if its only used for that purpose. The alternative of no stroller, let's not even go there..Improvements to consider: a five-point harness and a shoulder carry strap would make it more travel friendly, without adding too much weight, bulk or cost.Kuddos to its mom inventor for taking a simple, "why didn't I think of it sooner" concept and offering what no other major manufacturer has been able to offer for travelers today. Maclaren, Graco, Inglesina, Combi - you can do better. All we need is a basic twin stroller under 20 lbs!PS - for air travel and everyday use under current travel guidelines, you could consider two individual single umbrella strollers, such as the 16 lb Inglesina Trip 2012 (full size) or the Maclaren Volo (basic), used with connectors to turn them into a double. Pricewise, it will cost about four times as much. If weight is not an issue, consider the Combi Twin DX, about three times as much. Different quality, more features, way more expensive alas.

5Great for short trips
By WednesdayBeagle
Imagine you need to get your twins into the car for a short trip to the doctor or the mall. Do you really want to break out your giant twin stroller, fold it up, and lift it up its heavy mass into the car, which it barely fits into? This is just the right stroller for those "short trips". It folds up like nothing, can fit into any car, and weights far less than any other twin stroller. Now are you going to do a five mile stroll with this stroller? No way. Those little wheels have a huge amount of rolling resistance (on the other hand, strolling a few blocks is now a great workout...) But if you are just going to pop the twins in the car (or on the bus!) and have a short stroll up to the doctor, around a small mall, this might be the thing. It is also good for going to outside patios of restaurants with the twins, as it barely takes up any room. This probably is not going to be your only stroller, but it sure is convenient for its use cases!

4Nice
By Morton
This is kind of high priced for an umbrella stroller. My guess is that they get away with it because it is a double, and double umbrella strollers are hard to come by. It is nice, easy to fold up and open and lightweight. I use this stroller more frequently than my double jogger. However, this stroller is NOT god for grassy areas nor rocky/bumpy terrain. That being said, this is great for quick trips to the store. Although, we all know that nothing is "quick" with twins! :)
