Using on a 6 ton Carrier outdoor unit. The system cools a training room which can get warm when it's full of people, even when it's cold outside . Without this, the compressor goes out on low suction pressure. This unit slows the outdoor fan speed down when it's cold outside based on condensing temperature. That keeps pressures up and the a/c working. Note: it is only for single phase condenser fan motors up to 480 volts. Not for 3 phase motors. That's ok, as most 3 phase condensing units use a single phase fan motor. Installation is straightforward, but it helps to know a little about air conditioning.
