Pros-The size is perfect!! I don't understand how another reviewer was so surprised about the size.... tape measure? The board is very solid and safe. the fit, finish and construction of this ironing board is great! The iron cradle is made out of a nice thick gauge metal and isn't flimsy at all.Another great thing is the fold out cloths hanger with the notches!! Its just the little things that make this board sweet.Cons-The ironing board cover is crap!!!!!!!!! Its very thin with little to no padding. For the amount of money I expect a premium pad on the board! I wanted a solid frame and a good pad out of the box! I bought this board thinking that the extra premium I payed for this board I should not have to mess around looking for another pad that will fit this board and pay more $$$$ ( -1.5 Stars )Overall for the product itself I give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars****So where did the other 1.5 stars go?****Well even if you can live with a sub par iron board cover good luck using it!The box this board is shipped in is absolutely horrible. I buy a lot of merchandise online but the packaging was bad. I mean really bad. The board is literally shipped in its manufactures box. The seller took no conscious effort to package or at least reinforce the box for individual shipping.The box wasn't thrown around or man handled in the mail but the fact the manufactures box was so brittle it really didn't take much for the board to shift and break through the card board. The actual ironing board itself was not damage at all. No dents, scratches nothing. Unfortunately the cover was completely wrecked. (Another reviewer mentioned this too)The ironing board is shipped with the cover on. It is not packaged and put on the side to assemble when you open it up. If the pad was only folded and packed on the side of the board it would have been awesome****-Still debating on returning this board and instead buy another board that will be just as sturdy as this board for $60 range and then spend the extra $$$ on a good pad. I really wanted this to be a one shot deal but unfortunately get ready to spend some extra time and money finding a pad for this board.

Ironing board is very nice, however, the packaging was just OK. It was shrink wrapped inside of the box and it still was able to shift enough to tear the ironing board cover at the tip through the plastic. It arrived with a hole in the cloth cover. Also, the cover had some black stains in the middle that had to have happened at the factory, as they were under the shrink wrap too. The inner shrink wrap is clear so you could easily see the 3 large stains on the fabric. Why would you send your product out like that? The board itself is very nice and sturdy so I guess I'm buying a new cover.

This ironing board was PERFECT! heavy duty , and great quality but it turned out to be way bigger than i expected . i had to switch with my mom , because it was to big to return
