This is my first furniture over the internet buying experience. In researching my purchase, I noticed that some items were available via different merchants and had reviews complaining of pressed wood and veneer product. I chose this item from Wayfair even though no reviews were posted on it based on the item description of it being hand-carved pecan wood.This cabinet is BEAUTIFUL, real wood and marble top. So refreshing.It came well packaged for shipment with a styrofoam surround and a sturdy cardboard box. One of the little shelf stays had unscrewed itself, but I recovered it from the box. Seems they were all just threaded in but not tightened to allow for shelf re-positioning of the various heights. The back piece is loose on one side, the nails having just missed their mark, but too such a small degree, I didn't even bother to fix it for my purposes.

I have had great luck with Wayfair as a seller. This piece of furniture looks great. I was worried when I saw UPS handle the package, but the piece was surrounded with thick styrofoam and survived completely unscathed. The finish is of good quality and is consistent. The top is tile, but looks very nice. It's an elegant accent that gives extra storage space in narrow areas.

We just had our Master bath remodeled and had a very specific space that needed "something". Spent alot of time looking for the perfect piece. Our vanities in bathroom are very elaborate and not just any piece was going to work and I didn't want to pay $1000. for something. This piece is very pretty! Carvings and design compliment our vanities. Construction is very good. The marble top matches my vanities. Packed perfectly and came in w/o a stratch. Made the right choice!
