Product Description
The Opteka TH30 features smooth operational movement and positive locking. The oversized quick release plate's receiver has a safety catch to prevent accidental release of the quick release plate. This additional safety system prevents the accidental detaching of the camera from the head.

Solid and well constructed. This is a solid unit. More important to me is this head quick release plate is fully compatible with the Ravelli APGL4 New Professional Tripod.

as mentioned if you have a tripod or monopod thats needs an adaptive screw for this ballhead beware..seller does not mention this nor sells it..seems like a good sturdy ballhead but not able to use it for it did not come with adaptive screw

Amazing quality! Works like a dream on the carbon fiber model monopod from the same company. Heavy (Not kidding, check weight in specs to make sure its not to heavy for your needs), and sturdy. I would trust any camera to this, both DSLR and 4x5's even. Excellent purchase
