I love this pesto sauce. I find I need far less oil and use more water without losing the wonderful flavor. I use approximately 3 bags for 8 pounds of chicken cut into small pieces. I marinade it overnight, several hours is fine also. I grill it on my George Foreman grill, fantastic. I save the sauce run off because that is wonderful. An outdoor grill would also be fine, the oil in the sauce works well for the chicken grilled. You would not believe how good the flavor is. I use two pounds of thin pasta broken (just my preference, whole is fine) before I put it into the water. When it is done I use another bag of pesto sauce dry, no liquid needed and mix it into the pasta to add flavor, two probably would be better.I used to use the sauce with plain pasta and I love that. Again, no need to use as much oil as indicated. Just increase the amount of water, less calories. I have bought fresh pesto sauce which of course is delicous but the calories and fat are way too much. Besides, this is so easy to make.
