I hike 8-10 miles a day, 3-4 days a month, in NH's White Mountains. Rocky, muddy, lots of scrambling, slippery ledges. Not many boots stand up to that and still feel good. These boots do. I have wide feet so am hard to fit in women's boots. And boots with very flexible soles leave my feet sore at 5 miles. These boots have a comfortable fit and enough stiffness to protect my feet. I've dunked them a few times this spring and my feet stayed nice and dry. Nice grippy sole for all those ledges. I'm ordering another pair now, even though my first pair only have 70 miles on them. My new favorite 3 season boots!

They are the best work shoes I've ever had. I am a farmer, my work has many demands, I have to walk in mud, water or ploughed land, and there is nothing more uncomfortable than working with sand, stones or water inside shoes... Since I use the shoes I arrive at my house with my socks as white and dry as when got them in the morning
