I gave this product to my mother who had a terrible episode of diverticulitis a few months back and has never quite recovered. She started having a lot of autoimmune problems, such as psoriasis. This product, along with supplements, has her back almost good as new!!

20 years ago I got an intestinal parasite that turned out to be difficult to diagnose. Every antibiotic my Dr. gave me made me feel worse. By the time he hit on the right one, my lower GI tract was a mess. I lost 30 lbs, couldn't eat solid food, had bouts of painful diarrhea and constipation, etc. etc. ad nauseum. Literally.Taking UC Sustain and following the diet for three months fixed me right up. It was like magic. Back then I had to get it thru a 'provider' and luckily I had a chiropractor friend who got it for me.I've continued to have IBS off and on since then, but it never got bad enough to need a supplement. For the last two months I've been having another bad IBS episode. When I finally decided to look for Sustain, I was so happy to see it available on Amazon. It's way too expensive, it always has been. But it works for me.One good thing though, I remember the older version tasting much worse. I had to blend it with a banana and honey to be able to gulp it down. The new version is much better tasting.I make a blended shake with banana, vanilla rice milk and another fruit (papaya, mango) or Knudsen's coconut-pineapple juice. It's not too bad, just a little gritty.I'm going to order some more right now.

I have an auto immune disorder and allergic to 90% of all foods I've been tested for. This is the only protein/supplement I can use without any negative side affects. It tastes good with my unsweetened almond milk. Add a little organic vanilla extract for extra flavor with your choice of natural sweetener and voila ~ It's become my breakfast staple. Referred to metagenics products by my integrative medicine doctor (trained by Dr. Andrew Weil).
