I bought two of these to match my Legare 48" desk and added Peninsula. All are part of the living room "furniture", as I prefer to have my office there. If you are looking for the "natural look" in a squarish shape, these might be the thing for you. They do seem larger than your usual end table, but then they provide more space for the lamp, tablet, remote controls, magazines, etc. They are attractive and easy to assemble. I don't think I would have bought them separately, but like them very much as part of the whole Legare multiple component system.
