If you're looking for something to impress a Tim Burton obsessed five year old, this little set is it.The pieces are pretty small, hence the "durability" rating of this set. Listen, they're not that small; it's not like they're microscopic enough to make Oogie Boogie cute to a five year old. She's certainly still terrified of him. She lost a few of the smaller "accessory" pieces pretty quickly, but it was fine with her as long as Jack and Sally could be together.These really are perfect for smaller kids to play make believe with. Just a heads up - the arms are not pliable or posable, so don't expect to be able Sally to hug Jack.

This set was one of the things my son picked out for Christmas. He was more excited about this thing than any of his other toys before Christmas. I also bought him a nerf full auto gun, a remote control helicopter, a lego fire station, etc.. This is the one he still plays with every day. It is tough and funny. And he loves it. It is also inexpensive.

My friend is an gigantic fan of everything Tim Burton-he loved this!! It has all the main characters and is displayed so well there really no need to open it if collecting.
