I play Bass for a gospel group, we play in a lot of small venues such as churches and some small auditoriums, and I have an Ampeg amp that really has a great sound but was sometimes a little bulky and cumbersome caring it around not to mention heavy. So I researched several amps and read a lot of blogs before I decided on the Hartke HyDrive. I purchased it along with the Hartke HA2500 head and the sound just blew me away. The first time I used it on program all my friends loved it and wondered how could such a booming sound come from such a small package and the speaker only weights 40lbs wow that was a blessing to me! I am very glad that I decided on this purchase and I did find everything written in the blogs about this speaker was true even the part about the cover peeling off, I found this to be the case with this speaker cabinet but because of the great sound that it produced I could look over that and besides I took it to a leather shop and had it repaired. I don't think that you could go wrong with this purchase I am one happy man!
