Exactly as advertised! Great single point sling mount for AR's!

This sling mount is everything I was looking for in a semi-permanent (removable) single point sling mount for my Colt Carbine. Colt Carbines have staked buffer tube rings, and to install other single point sling adapters, you have to remove the staked in punches to get the buffer tube off.Not with this unit. It fits perfectly onto the buffer tube and clamps in place with two screws. Easy on, Easy off.And it works perfectly with my HK style single point sling.The unit is well constructed out of aluminum and fits snugly and clamps on positively. No movement at all once its screwed in place. And the cost is only about 1/2" loss of clearance for the collapsible buttstock. Well worth the effort.If you need a single point sling attachment at the buffer tube and you dont' want to remove the stakings, this is the unit you need.I will be buying many more...

I actually ordered the Gen2 which is made out of a polymer and is a bit lighter and less expensive. They were on backorder and Tactical Link contacted me immediately offering this version (or the option to wait for the Gen2). I went ahead with this one and couldn't be happier with the quality of the sling mount. It also seems like this would be much stronger than the polymer version. My Magpul MS3-QD sling fits perfectly and seems rock-solid. The Magpul ACS stock can not completely retract with this on, but it stops at the first detent and is flush with the mount when locked there.I am completely satisfied with this sling mount and will keep an eye out for Tactical Link's new products.

Installs in less than a minute, fantastic fit and finish and works flawless! I use it with a magpul ms3 single qd sling with no issues. This thing is built to last and wouldn't supprise me id it out lasts the gun.
