Relatively inexpensive and well-made for the price point

I'm not sure how I noticed this rug was for sale on Amazon, we purchased ours at the local Navy Exchange (a little lower price, but not much). We bought the rug as we are staying in 'temporary housing', which in English means a bare bones townhouse type unit with linoleum-type/vinyl tile type floors downstairs (upstairs is borderline outdoor type carpet...sigh). My old dog (I added a picture of her under the 'customer pictures' above) does NOT do well with the floors so for the main room we purchased this rug.Admittedly, we were looking for anything relatively inexpensive that we could live with and get some usage out of, and this rug certainly fits the bill. First of all, my dog does like it and it does help her with her footing. Second of all, it is quite sturdy and well made--obviously a machine made item, but the bindings are tight, and the weave symmetrical. No odd lumps or ripples. The backing is kind of rough and the slippage has been minimal (usually caused by my occasionally raucous children).The colors are pleasant, warm for an otherwise austere type of housing unit. The design is interesting without drawing the eye too much or being a distraction. The weave shows 8x11 'knots' per square inch to give an idea of the tightness (or lack thereof) of the design.The only quibbles I have with it are in terms of the listing is that the graphic makes the design look crisper and the colors more vivid than the real thing. Probably more a factor of trying to shrink it down to fit the picture most likely, but there it is. Please do look at the picture I added above to give a realistic look (and please excuse the wires and the boxes--it is, thankfully, temporary housing).Overall, a very decent value and for it's intended purposes it is quite sufficient. Recommended if the colors and design suit your needs--they are just a little less vivid and coarser than the photo implies.JTG(current price listed is a hundred dollars, for reference)
