Nice soft lighting from small, polite lamp

This lamp came with the 13-watt cfl soft white bulb. I purchased it when a bedroom lamp went on the fritz. My placement is atop a natural-wood bedroom dresser that sits next to my bed. I often read in bed and need illumination in that spot as the overhead lighting from ceiling fan is not sufficient. The lamp looks just as pictured. You unscrew a holding ring and then place the shade on lamp and screw in place with the ring before adding light bulb. I like the easy reach of the pull chain to turn off before sleepy time. The scale of this lamp is perfect for placing on top of a chest of drawers. I do have the option of switching out bulb to use a 60-watt but I think I like the softer lighting for a bedroom. Note: I was confused by product description when I was trying to select a lamp because I believe it says you will need 2 13-watt bulbs, and that is incorrect information.
