Good buy

I had just purchased a Bed in Ebony and wanted the night stand to matchwhich was about the same price as the bed. After some looking I found thisNight Stand and at first I thought it would not be a good quality and look I waslooking for. I bought the item at less than a quarter of the price.The night stand came already assembled looked great and save about $300.00.

Thatcher Nightstand

We ordered 2 nightstands for our spare bedroom so didn't want to spend too much. Just needed a little extra draw space for guests. The nightstands were delivered via courier which I didn't expect. They both arrived damaged. One had part of the side leg lose and the other's paint was't completed on the sides. The 4 plastic stoppers on the feet of one of the nightstands were off and floating around the delivery box. It is basically put together with a tough form of staples. However, I still give these a 3 star. Aside from delivery damage and not amazing quality in construction, they look great! and solid! Given the price of these, I would buy them again.

Thatcher Nightstand/black

It took a couple of weeks to receive this furniture. Not a big deal unless you are refurnishing post house fire. I had high hopes for this nightstand. I shopped for weeks to find the best price, nicest design and sturdy enough to last furniture for the limited space in my bedroom. The nightstand came fully assembled, however the right front corner looked crushed and terrible as it someone had been very rough or dropped it in the delivery process somewhere. The other disappointment was the left front corner where the pieces join has about a 1/4" gap in it! Its very obvious and looks like a flaw in assembly as opposed to accident on its way to me. I am hoping to get a replacement as I feel this is unacceptable, even for the very reasonable price I paid... Other than the two mentioned flaws, it appears attractive, nice size, well made and pretty much true to the picture representing it. The drawers are slightly short and shallow but for a nightstand they are adequate. I plan to used them for lingerie and/or possibly journal and writing utensils.
