It is the standard 15.6in laptop screen for a HP laptop (in my case). It took me about 20 min to exchange a physically damaged screen for this one. And i hit the power button and boom, perfect picture. no dead pixels, no lines from bad video cable. it just worked.That was all i expected. that it was what it said it was and that it worked. Happy customer. I will try to use the same seller for my next screen replacement. They did a good job packaging the display: solid cardboard box, lots of bubble wrap (criss cross method), neon fragile stickers (not so many that UPS throws it around for giggles).And yea, Linux looks good on it.peace
