By Susan Schuster
This is my third pair of WR940s. They last a long time, have great support and wash up nicely. I wear a wide and they fit comfortably, and not sloppy. The length runs true to size.

By Imy Rich
These are the only shoes I can find that actually fit and have the support for my arches. I am narrow at the toes, but the last needs to be a little larger than average. I don't like that they are only "assembled in USA", would prefer to spend my money on 100% made in USA, I would even spend more on them. Like any other shoes, when worn everyday they only last about 6 months and then I need to put an insert in them and then I can get them to last another 3 or 4 months before I absolutely have to get a new pair. This is my 4th pair of these and I am so glad to finally find a pair of shoes that are comfortable.

By ALDB
I purchased these when the 1540, replacing the 1123s, did not work at all for me. I am a regular but casual runner (about 10 miles a week) with low arches and thus I overpronate. I have been running in these for several months now and I really like them. The front of the shoe feels more flexible than the 1123s, which allows me to move my foot around for a little less restrictive stride which I enjoy. Even with that, and without the Rollbar, they provide plenty of stability for me. I love the cushioning and do not feel any knee or hip pain when running on roads or sidewalks. However, I wish the heel were a little narrower and the toe box a little wider. For example, I clipped my heel working out in the house and the shoe came off, and I can feel the shoe press against my outside toes, although it is not uncomfortable. Also, I was not able to use any insoles with these shoes--it made the shoe so tight that my toes went numb. However, they turned out to be so supportive and cushioned that I do not need any additional insoles. The shoe runs true-to-size, though I purchased a half size larger, as I do with all my running shoes to accommodate foot swelling during runs. I plan on buying a second pair of these shoes.
