Love these

I have 3 of these in my workstation for SSD drives and SAS 600GB 10K drives. I have not had one issue, the SAS drives needed to have the top plastic plate left off on the install but that was known before I started the project. I have had these about a year now and they are PERFECT. Love them, Only complaint would be they look kind of pink when active but the blue matches the rest of my system and they look pretty sweet .I also use Supermicro Backplane's for my 3.5" drives and these are just as good on performance and durability.Ross

This backplane is what I was looking for, solid, reliable and silent. I have four 1T samsung hdd, I tested as single disks to see temps and try the hot swapping. Everything was ok, the temps were about 30C and the swapping was just fine. Now I have the set as RAID 5. Great purchase for my home server.
