By Carlos R. Barros
I was shopping around for a Floor Jack which would provide the weight reduction features of an aluminum jack without the steep price as well as provided a larger lift distance so that I could use on a lifted F150 and a minivan. I noticed this was rated for 3 tons and had aluminum and steel components with a 4" to 18 1/4" range. It was a good compromise in weight and strength and lift capacity. Not as heavy as an all steel 3 ton jack, but not as expensive as an all aluminum model. Reading about aluminum jacks, I found some owners complaining about the aluminum arm breaking with no flex. So I felt that a critical component being steel may bring some piece of mind about this happening. It has a rubber pad so that it does not damage the under-carriage or slip. It has a double plunger to lift quickly, moves with minimal resistance on a concrete floor, and the handles on the sides allow for ease of carry. When I first received it, I noticed that it was missing some fluid and simply filled. Also, the arm movement may get a little harder as you lift a heavier load and the handle is long which could make it difficult to lift when having to really go under a lifted vehicle as the handle motion is limited.Make sure you follow the instructions and purge the air before use. This is my first floor jack purchase beyond a bottle jack. I looked for several weeks before making my decision. For this price and for the features of this floor jack; I have not found a better value yet. Thanks.

By M. Hostina
THis jack is well made with nicer features than most competitive jacks. Raises heavy loads quickly & easily. The twist release handle saves fumbling around trying to position a handle on a separate release valve. THe ability to leave the handle in a vertical position saves working & storage space in cramped quarters. Lifts throughout the entire stroke range, allowing small height adjustments.

I was worried that this jack was just another one of thoserinky dink jacks from china being that there was no actualdimensions listed in the specifications on the Amazon siteor any other site for that matter. But to my delight this"mutha" is a full blown 60 pound shop grade floor jack. Some parts are made of aluminum thank goodness because itwould probably weigh in at 75+ pounds so this is no portable,it stays on the floor. Its dual pumping mechinism makes fora short and smooth stroke with its long handle having plentyof leverage. It is a little high towards the handle which maybe a problem with the ground hugging imports but if jackedfrom the side would easily lift the whole car.Very pleased with it, well made, well worth the money. Hank
