Would definitely recommend this for most motorcycles. It operates easily and lifts the bike without much effort. It is heavy, but that is necessary for the size bikes it can lift. Indeed I have a heavy Yamaha V-Star 1100, and it lifts it like a champ.Update 8/9/11: I have now used this lift for my Harley Davidson V-Rod as well. Again, works great to lift this heavy bike. I like the way it folds for storage. Easily fits under my garage shelving when not in use. Still recommend it highly.

This jack is simple and functional.I use it to work on a Harley low rider. The draw back is that the arms that lift the bike are a little short and have to be positioned precisely to pick up the bike safely, therefore it really requires 2 people. Once the bike is up it is a stable platform, I drop it onto the safety arms and do what ever is required, overall a good jack for the price.

Very solid unit and secure, but the pads barly fit under my 2003 Roadking. Still very happy. It would fit a smaller bike much better.
