Product Description
A mountain and life-style classic, the Men's Nano Puff Jacket from Patagonia earns overwhelming thumbs-up for versatility, surprising warmth and terrific all-around performance in a superlight, no-frills package. It's weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated shell in a wet snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding DWR (durable water repellent) finished 100% all-recycled polyester shell (1-oz 15-denier) also glides effortlessly, whether worn as an outer or midlayer. Low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft One (60 g) traps heat with remarkable efficiency, even when wet. The deep front zipper allows for easy ventilation. The Nano also packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into a single chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. The Nano Puff Jacket is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program...

By Brandon Wilde
My wife and I will be attempting the Appalachian Trail in April of 2012. We bought this coat for her because she is allergic to down. The fit is great and flattering! She loves it, it isn't bulky and doesn't get in the way incredibly light also. It packs down great for throwing in your bag and insulates very well. The warmth is incredible and though the white has gathered a few stains, she loves it. She has even slept in it a few times without problems and has yet to get snagged. Though I would recommend only wearing this as an underlayer while in the outdoors for around town it will perform perfectly.

I am in love with this jacket! Not only does it look nice on its own, it is incredibly versatile and also makes a great layering piece, to wear under other coats, shells and sweaters. It is super light, not at all bulky, but keeps you nice and warm. I prefer the zip jacket over the hoodie style because the jacket is more versatile, allowing it to be used as both an under layer and an outer layer. When wearing alone on cold days, I like to wear a cashmere hoodie, a thin fleece hoodie, or a scarf to add a splash of color and give it a bit more style. Great for travel as it packs down to nothing! My only complaint is having the Patagonia logo placed on the front - wish companies would STOP doing that!As for size, I find it runs slightly big. I bought an xs, (I am usually an xs or small depending on the designer) and it has plenty of room through the arms and shoulders, and plenty of room for a layer under. The xs is not fitted on me, but still looks nice.
