Great toy to assemble with your kid

Much like the Grasshopper and Hornet, this reissue is a simple toy one can assemble with the young ones.Great for bonding time and learning a few things while doing the build.We have several crystals, batteries and some controllers already so a servo is what we just bought separately.The included motor works well for its size.Waiting for some more reissues to drop in prices...It only took us less than 3 hours to build. A bit of help from an adult was needed on the shocks so i did that on my own while i had my son so most of the cutting and cleaning of parts. What's with kids and greasy things? They seem to love 'em so i had him grease all gears that needed them.Simple toy to assemble. Lots of fun doing the build, lots more fun seeing it run.The shocks seem to be needing a hop-up though.The plastic bearings, well that depends if you are using it often.My son an I build, break-in and use the Tamiyas for a few days until its time to clean, remove the batteries and place it on the shelf alongside the other collections.
