This water heater, which is made in Japan, is slick in design. Although it holds 5 liters of water, it doesn't take as much counter-top space as I expected. It is quiet and efficient. I can choose from three temperature settings that are designed for making tea or cooking instant noodle. I especially like the 6 or 9 hours "sleep timer", which is one of the reason that I purchase this product.The only thing I wish it would have is a stainless steel interior, but I would still give it a five-star rating.

Door lock could be better

I have both Zojirushi and Tiger, both are pretty much the same thing, both made in Japan, great quality.Pros on Tiger, water dispenser botton are better than Zojirushi, cheaper than Zojirushi (5L models)Pros on Zojirushi, water boils quicker, door lock is better designed and easier open and close.

Bought this to replace our old Tiger water heater, after many years of everyday use the motor started giving out. This is a high quality product, made in JAPAN hope this one last just as long.
