The oval-shaped baroque pearls are treasured for their intense surface iridescence and brilliant luster. Handpicked for their extremely rare surface orient characteristics, the colorful iridescence of these pearls add to the depth and complexity of the piece. We purposefully selected an eclectic assortment of overtones to mix around the strand including purple, blue-green, cranberry and copper (although commonly referred to as black pearls due to their dark colors, real cultured pearls are never jet black). The metallic-like luster on these pearls will capture the light and reflect the various hues depending on lighting and what they are worn with. Nice gift

This was an anniversary gift for my wife, and she was pleased. I'm not much of an expert on jewelry, but this seemed to fill the ticket. I will admit that my college-aged daughter helped me pick this out, but it was well-received, and I have bought from this seller before, and I continue to be pleased. I already have some larger black pearls, but purchased this necklace to have some variety. Because of the many colors in the necklace, it goes well with many outfits. I have found that I particularly like wearing it with blue. The 65" length is good for me -- very versatile and can be worn so many ways. Another HinsonGayle winner!
