Arc'teryx Atom Sv Hoody, another fantastic creation from Arc'teryx!

A truly "must have" item in one's arsenal, I am ever so grateful to have happened upon the Arc'teryx Atom SV Hoody! It is a fantastic layering jacket: easily compressible, lightweight, warm, and ever so soft. For anyone with tactile sensitivities, or who has autism, this jacket is like heaven on earth. Wearing it is delightful, and it's so remarkably thin that it fits well between layers. Currently, I've been wearing it between an Under Armour Storm hoodie, http://www.amazon.com/Women%252019s-Armour-Fleece-Storm-Under/dp/B00ARY45NM/ref=sr_1_3?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1366986251&sr=1-3&keywords=under+armour+storm+hoodie, and an Arc'teryx Venta SV jacket, http://www.amazon.com/Arcteryx-Venta-SV-Jacket-Womens/dp/B001EOS440/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1366986151&sr=8-3-fkmr1&keywords=Arcteryx+venta+sv+hoody, both of which are also superb, and it fits just fine. I wear the Atom SV in a size small, and the Venta SV in a medium, to accommodate the layers underneath. The fit is just right, allowing free movement of my arms, and the multiple hoods allow for flexible adjustment to weather conditions, the colder it gets the more hoods I layer, and the warmer it is, the more I peel back. It's also possible to leave the Atom SV zipped, and the Venta SV unzipped, to adjust with fluctuations in the weather, and for regulating body temperature, especially when standing still, after being active.What more can I say? Arc'teryx makes fantastic gear! There is an appropriate jacket for every condition an outdoor enthusiast might find her/himself in. As the Arc'teryx Atom SV Hoody packs up very small, it's an ideal travel companion. They also make a LT, a lighter weight one, for less extreme temperatures, which I'm sure will be just as indispensable when the weather warms up.Dries easily. Packs light. Keeps one warm. And is super soft, & extremely comfortable. Definitely a five star jacket!
