Really liked this Watch, BUT...

I really liked this watch, BUT The second hand didn't even come close to hitting it's index marks. Jumped right over them and at different rates, depending on which side of the dial it was on.This condition makes you feel that the watch is totally inaccurate, even if it is NOT!Had to return it, drove me nuts. Aw well. Too bad too , I really like TORGOEN. I have four of their other watches, and I'm very pleased with them.The Case, Band and crystal on this watch is 1st class.Maybe you'll get one that hits it's marks, but you will find this complaint about TORGOEN in other reviews I'm sorry to say.Certainly NOT Amazon's fault. It never should have left the factory.

Great watch

I decided to purchase the cream colored dial. I was afraid that the darker background would "hide" the hands, particularly the third hand because it is very thin. However, now that I have the watch I am not sure that would be the case because the watch is so big. The size makes it very easy to read, including the third hand. The watch keeps very good time. I also like the crystal/hardex(?). I have worn it working on cars and other odd jobs and have not scratched it. It is also easy to set. I read some reviews on other model Torgoen watches compalining about lumination. The luminous hands are bright and last all night.There are a few inconveniences. First, like I stated previously, the watch face is large. But it fits perfect for my large wrists (6 foot 240lb). Second, the date needs to be updated for shorter/longer months. Lastly, the leather band is very thick and I am using the second to last hole. It is breaking in and getting more comfortable. Again these are inconveniences only and do not outweigh the benefits of the watch. That is why I only gave it four stars. For the price (I paid under $200) I think this is a very good watch.

Great Watch for the Money

This watch looks fantastic - looks like a much higher-end watch. Holds up really nicely next to coworkers who have Panerais that cost 10 times as much. I love the large face and thick strap - works really well for bigger guys with large wrists.
