After some road time with the Scala teamset pro here are some of my findings. I have tried the system in both a Bell Mag 8 3/4 helmet and an HJC full face. The system works flawlessly with cell phones and placing and receiving calls was very simple and sound quality was good, a voice dial capable phone is a plus here. The intercom feature works well but the volume is not quite loud enough above 65-70 mph. Now for the music part......if you are looking for home stereo quality sound......ain't gonna happen. If you do like your tunes while riding and your no audiophile then you should get along with the system just fine. However, sound volume rears its head above 60 mph. Battery life seems good but I haven't taken the unit on a long ride yet. One problem we ran into with the 3/4 helmets was the fact wind noise would activate the mics and cut out the music quite often, changing the flat mic covers to the round ones seems to have stopped this problem. All in all i am satisfied with the product and feel it is comparable to the Chatterbox system I have been using......without all the wiring in the way. Our main reason for choosing this system was the ability for the passenger and rider to have separate phones and MP3 players this keeps the wife happy.

I had been using a cheap and old cabled intercom system, which required both driver and passenger to be connected to a central unit, normally in one of my jacket pockets, very messy and complicated to say the least. I bought the Teamset Pro to use it on our annual Blue Ridge Parkway ride. The first set I ordered came defective, as one of the units would not charge. I returned the item to Amazon and ordered a new one. The first thing I noticed when I opened the box, is that is a quality product, the finish and the accesories, all well built. Installation was surprisingly easy. It took me less than 20 minutes to install the mike and speaker in both helmets. The speakers have velcro on one side and it adheres very well to the helmet inner fabric. I did not need to use the glued velcro provided.Once on the road, the vox worked fine, although when it was very windy would come on. The intercom would come on as soon as I started to talk. I normally use ear plugs, but even with those, at 70 mph I could understand my wife's orders...I would have liked a higher volume to be on the safe side, but I could understand my wife conversation, except in those cases where we were passing a tractor trailer... Without ear plugs, I had no problem at all.The cell phone hook up works fine. My wife spent a lot of time on the phone, and I was getting busy signals on my intercom. You get the call and once you say something, it will connect you. Even with high ambient noise, people on the other end of the line reported good voice quality and very little noise.I do not like to hear music when I am riding, so I did not test the MP3 connection, but I think this is not the product to listen to music. I think the quality of the sound is not good enough for that.

Item was as described, very fast shipping, good price, & nice features. Would recommend seller. Attached them to a full & 3/4 faced helmets fairly easily, was able to hide the excess wire under the padding. One note, I have after market pipes which are obviously louder than stock, that being said, while cruising about 60+ my passenger could not hear me. I could hear her fairly well & she was wearing the 3/4 helmet. I tried adjusting the mic in several different positions but to no avail. At speeds around 35-40 we could communicate with no problems. So I am a bit disappointed with the quality at higher speeds since they are self adjusting to background noise. There is limited space in the full faced helmet to adjust the mic. Maybe I'll buy another 3/4 helmet to use on trips & see how it performs. Hope this review helps anyone in the market for a decent set of motorcycle communication devices.
