I bought the Ocean Kayak Zest Two Expedition a few weeks ago and I absolutely LOVE IT. I've taken my wife and two kids out on it with me (all at once) and it's comfortable. I've taken naps when I needed a break from fishing/paddling without any issues/scares (yeah, it might be dangerous, whatever). It's incredibly stable. I don't think it's intended to have you stand on it, but it's possible if you've got a good sense of balance. The Zest Two is a very stable kayak. It's a bit slow when near the max weight capacity with only one paddler.. or maybe I'm just too weak for now ;) I'm 6 feet tall and I'm using 240cm paddles, which are working wonderfully. Seems to be a good length.A couple things about the kayak that I think are important to know before purchase:It has 8 scupper holes: 4 Medium 4 Large. I recommend buying these if you don't want water coming in the kayak near the max weight limit. The seat backing on the Zest Two Exp is low so get something with a high back if you want more support. For me, if I lean back without a seat I can feel my lower back screaming at me.I highly recommend buying a couple good kayak seats. No in-yak storage came preconfigured from Amazon. You'll have to either mod the yak yourself or find a shop to do it for you. There are a lot of potential storage locations.Since there are so few reviews for this wonderful item, please let me know if you have any questions and I'd be happy to answer them. I may update this review at a later date with more info/experiences.

Got the Zest Two for fishing off the coast of Santa Cruz, works great even in big surf and high winds. Fits a milk crate with pvc pole holders like a dream and alot of storage.

We had one of these that we bought used and loved it for 8 years. It finally cracked beyond repair so we bought one new. It has quite a few nice features that we did not have on the old one. Good drink holders and paddle holders.
