Best Cable for under $100 bucks

I was looking for high performance interconnects for my new Onkyo SACD player to replace the existing monster cables. My primary goals were better sound and affordability. I was not going to spend major $$$$ on RCA cables because I don't have high grade audiophile equipment. I did not want to go with another monster product because I didn't think it would be any better than what I already have. After searching Amazon and doing some research online I decided to go with the Better Cables Silver Serpents. I found no negative reviews about this company or its products. The sound produced by these cables is significantly better than the monster cables. I was also very impressed with the fit and finish of the silver serpents. Solid construction. These cables have exceeded my expectations. I assume the superior performance has something to do with the silver content in these cables. I highly recommend them.

I am not one to review products that I buy, but I felt compelled to write about this product. I was a complete skeptical about interconnects making a difference in the sound quality of my hi-fi system. Browsing the internet, you quickly realize that audiophiles are willing to spend ridiculous amounts of money on cables. These cables were "affordable" and I felt comfortable trying them with Amazon's return policy. To my surprise, these cables made quite a difference in the sound compared to the radio shack "premium" cables that I had. The sound was punchier and had more "air". I would recommend these to anyone interested in fine tuning the sound of their system. I ended up buying two more pairs to complete the system.

Well constructed cable. They're nice and flexible with tight fitting connectors and, now that they're broken in, sound superb. For the price, these are a very good purchase.
