improved the sound

I have been hesitant to invest in nice interconnects, I read the reviews on these and thought, why not the price is much more reasonable than others. I run high-res tracks off my Macbook-pro to an Ad com gfc-565 preamp, to a Bryston 4b amp. I replaced my RadioShack RCA cables with these at all points, and wow! I never heard it so good! Bass tightened up, and the mids and highs cleared up on my old Dahlquist DQ-10 speakers, that I just did a capacitor upgrade on. Highly Recommended!

Overpriced stereo cables with Canare connectors.

I needed an extra set of RCA cables so I decided to take a chance and buy these. I have a set of the best quality RCA cables from Cables For Less and detected no audible difference between those and this set. In terms of connectors, both have the same Canare connectors, only these are covered in heat shrink tubing. As for the cables themselves, you're paying extra for some fancy red and black weaving (maybe that matters to you) but underneath the cables look the same on the outside. As for the inside I'm not sure, I don't want to spend more money on cables to replace ones I've decided to cut in half.On a more positive note, the cables sound good...they do better than basic RCA cables. But don't get suckered into the $$$ equals better cables, cables like these can be had for less if you look. Another thing that kind of annoyed me was that this is the longest length you can get the cables in. For someone whose computer is a little far away from their monitors you want some slack and I only had a very small comfortable amount.
