Sets the Mood

This is a great flatware set for anyone that enjoys the Southwestern motif. It's a nice sturdy weight and feels good in your hand. I've had this set for about twenty years while raising three sons into adulthood, it has really stood the test of time. I don't handwash, everything goes into the dishwasher. It still looks as good today as when I bought the set. I paid several hundred dollars for this set because it was so unusual and different from everything else on the market. I'm actually surprised to see it priced at such a bargain, it's a great deal for the money and a great quality product.

I bought the Wallace Taos (18/10 Stainless Steel--That's Eighteen/Ten Stainless Steel) flatware quite a few years ago--back in the previous millennium--maybe in the 90's, from a totally different website. I've abused them terribly, which I don't recommend doing, but they've stood up handsomely. They look as beautiful as the day I bought them. My Five-Star review is for the Taos 18/10 (Eighteen/Ten) Stainless Steel...(I wanted to buy some more for a big birthday party I'm throwing for my old self...)BUT, I don't know about the new Wallace Taos (18/0--That's Eighteen/Zero Alloy) that is being advertised here. I would ask before buying if they are stainless, and maybe even ask if they are non-reactive like stainless...

Saw this flatware two years ago selling at another couple sites for $450, couldn't believe in the end I only paid $126 with shipping. The flatware is light and really well made. I am extremely happy with my purchase, it goes really well with my western style in the house. When I bought this I thought the purchase was for only 4 place settings but when I got it, the order was for 8 place settings and also serving items. This is a great buy and I wouldn't think twice about ordering. Seller had item to me within a week...
