Jeep JK owners expect a lot from their ride. Yet many exhaust manufacturer’s figure they can simply pack the same generic muffler into their Jeep kits that they put on a Civic. MBRP's Jeep JK muffler were designed to match the very real demands JK owners have for their rigs. After many dyno runs with various muffler designs, combined with real world testing, MBRP were able to pull 9 RWHP and 15ft/lbs out of the 3.8L V6. The unique chambered design of the muffler provides a pleasingly rich rumble at idle that builds to a civilized growl at driving speeds and a throaty roar when you push the throttle down. Unlike fiber packed straight through mufflers MBRP's chambered design can handle getting wet. Here at MBRP, a lot of thought is put into the exhaust system. The muffler remains to the rear to avoid having to reposition the evaporation canister. MBRP tucked the muffler up as high as possible in order to provide maximum clearance while keeping it in the factory location. The heavy 16 gauge steel construction is tough enough to stand up to anything that the road, or off road, can dish out. The mirror polished T304 stainless steel tip can be easily removed for off road adventures and replaced for driving around town.

Easy to install great price

I thought this was a great price and have wanted to replace mine for a while. This fits my Jeep Wrangler and looks great. Much smaller than the stock exhaust and the sound is a really, loud low rumble...louder than I thought but I like it. Easy to install, directions help and I did this in about 30 minutes. I would say to anyone looking to give this one a try!

I noticed 2.4 mpg increase in fuel economy on a2011 jeep jk It has good throaty sound. I do recommend getting some hanger pliers for the instalation. The stock hangers ar so hard to get off.
